Guiding College Field Trip - 2025

‘Naan Mudhalvan Scheme’ serves as a guide for higher education. As part of this scheme, the College Field Visit program is being implemented. Accordingly, government school students studying in Class 12 are taken to nearby colleges in their respective areas.

Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi initiated the College Field Visit trip for Government school Students

Up to 35 students from a school are selected to visit classrooms, libraries, and laboratories in government and government-aided colleges. They also gain awareness about the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered in the college, as well as the available scholarships.

As a result, students develop an interest in pursuing higher education, while their confusion and fear about the college environment and its practices are removed. Furthermore, this scheme helps them make informed decisions about which college and course of study to choose.
