
The Scouts’ Camporee is a unique opportunity that provides students with direct field experience in leadership, unity, and community service.
On July 17, Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi inaugurated (Camporee) the Regional Scouts and Guides Camporee, which generated great enthusiasm among the students.

At this event, held at Malai Vazh Makkal Higher Secondary School in Kuniganthoor village, Javvadu Hills, Tiruvannamalai district, around 670 Scouts participated with great enthusiasm.
Be Prepared!
Speaking at the event, Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi encouraged the students, saying, “In times of disaster, students must be ready to help immediately, with a sense of responsibility to protect lives without causing harm to others. They should always remain prepared both physically and mentally, and act with wisdom and thoughtful awareness.”



Silver Jubilee Jamboree!
Earlier, on January 28, 2025, the Centenary Memorial Rally of Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar and the 75th Anniversary Silver Jubilee of the Bharat Scouts and Guides movement were celebrated with great enthusiasm at Manapparai in Tiruchirappalli district. More than 20,000 Scouts and Guides participated in the event, accomplishing seven world records. On this occasion, the Minister for School Education, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, was conferred the prestigious “Silver Elephant Award”, the highest honour of the Scouts and Guides movement.
Camporee’s Role in the Success of the Jamboree!





Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said, “The success of international and national Jamboree events lies in the importance given to regional-level Camporees. These events serve as training grounds that bring out the talents and abilities of students.”

Encouraging the Scouts and Guides, Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said, “The importance given to our movement by our Honourable Chief Minister is the driving force that inspires us to act with pride. Every Scout must strive to bring about positive change in society, thereby adding glory to him.”
Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi further emphasized, “Students must embrace the spirit of ‘Once a Scout, Always a Scout!’”
